Responsible Nations’ Index

India’s G20 Presidency outcome document has ontinued pressing for reformed multilateralism that creates a more accountable, inclusive, just, equitable and representative multipolar international system that is fit for addressing the challenges in the 21st century.
WIF has undertaken a mammoth task of developing the Responsible Nations’ Index (RNI) which aims to provide a comprehensive, objective assessment of the nations based on their responsible behaviour. This index is designed to shift the focus from the notions of the powerful nations to the responsible ones, emphasising indicators that promote peace, prosperity and sustainability.
Our methodology, which is being developed through extensive consultations with stakeholders and transparent data collection, is rooted in scientific rigour and fairness. RNI is certainly a one-of-a-kind index that comes when the world needs it the most when there is a need to reinstate people’s faith in governments and course-correct the ones, that have assumed greater power at the cost of responsibility. It intrinsically aligns with the T20 TF-7.
